On House 32, Andrea Lizarralde painting the trim. She was a Citicorp volunteer and
hails from Ecuador.

On Thursday, an unexpected rainstorm blew up, but before the rain started,
the clouds gave us a bit of drama.

Andrea again. Dedications are always emotional moments -- the pride
of accomplishment, the pleasure in seeing a family obtain their own simple, decent home, and a good-bye all in one.

I got to take pictures on a narrow street in Lonavala while Ginger
worked with finding a tailor.

Outside Lonavala, the Karla caves are over 2000 years old. At sunset,
the light illuminates one of dozens of carved pillars.

Also at the Karla caves, a worshipper with a henna pattern on her hand
prays in the Hindu temple.

The Indians describe this woman as a "tribal person." They live
in the hills of the state of Maharashtra.

A seller of spices and dal in old Hyderabad.

In a bangle shop in old Hyderabad.

On the street below the Char Minar
(also Chaminar) gate in old Hyderabad.

In the Jami Mosque in Old Delhi.

A Hindu funeral procession in Jaipur on the way to the funeral pyre.

Outside the mausoleum of Akbar the Great outside Agra.

My first glimse of the Taj from the northwest,
looking over the vegetation, through the
smoke of the Hindu cremation fires by the river, and past the mosque on the west side of the Taj.

The Taj Mahal, up close. On a beautiful day, great photos can be
found from all over.

In Old Dehli, outside the Sikh Temple, a young Sikh boy with his
smiling mother. Male Sikhs never cut their hair.

A narrow alley in Old Delhi. I never got the photo that I wanted; shortly
after this, there were some boys who wanted to get in a picture. But I still enjoy the light in this space.
