In preparation, Jyoti creates a traditional Rangoli on each porch using
powdered calcium carbonate.

Jaywant and Jijabai enter their home first and invite the
rest of us in.

Jaywant blessed each of us with a red bindi.

Jaywant, Jijabai and their two sons could not stop
smiling.

Jijabai was particularly happy to get photos
with her partners in construction.

After dedicating home #31, we turned to #32, first waiting for little Abhishek
to arrive, Maruti and Jyoti's son.

As had been done on #31, Jyoti and Maruti observed a ceremony to
bless the house.

The ceremony
included smashing a coconut. The coconut is very special since every part of the plant is used, but the coconut
must be broken in a single stroke to bring good luck. They were successful.

Each of our two families handed out coconuts to us. We never caught
on that we should have broken our coconuts as well.

We never got a good photo of our team and families alone, but this
one includes most of those who worked all week. Some who have not been introduced in earlier pictures include Sandi from Indiana,
on the right, Gunawan Sudiyono of Indonesia in front to her right, and Donna Starkey from Wisconsin, kneeling by the sign.
