Ship's restaurant
After dinner with Helmut and Hildegard Lemke from British Columbia in the Kiev Restaurant.   Some description of the food served on board will be in order . . .

Typically when Mennonites gather for a meal, we sing the Doxology, and so it often was in the meals in the Kiev or Danube Restaurants.  Someone would lead out, and we would join in a 4-part rendition together, always a bit special.  Once we tried the longer version of the Doxology (often known as "606", its number in the previous Mennonite hymnal.)  We carried that off beautifully as well, and it felt good to add a tenor part to all the great singers on board.
